Field Course Algonquin Park- Day 2

I start my morning with a jog around the WRS.  I see a Polyphemus moth caterpillar crossing the road. It's a very cute and chubby green caterpillar.

Driving down Hwy 60 we saw a moose in one of the wetlands. This was our first out of many 'moose jams' where cars and people crowd the road to see the moose.

On Broadwing Lake we found moose tracks. The bog had a lot of plant life. There were pitcher plants, leather leaf, sundew, cranberry and sedge.
